Seasonal Yoga in both its content and course structure makes yoga an integral part of our life. It follows and respects the traditional yoga teaching format - where a student continually evolves over the years by learning from the same yoga guru, in order to be a fully qualified and more experienced yoga teacher.
Unlike most yoga teacher training schools, (which require 4-weeks of intensive training) Seasonal Yoga takes place over 12 months, with weekend modules every 3-4 weeks. Its aim is for students to fully integrate their yoga practice into their daily lives and to incorporate the teachings from each module with the seasonal changes taking place around them.

Teacher Training
Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training courses go far beyond the standard requirements for an accredited teacher training course.
In drawing upon decades of experience, plus careful planning of the course structure and its materials, we aspire to create a learning environment which is fun, effective, diverse, and supportive. Our courses are for those who wish to teach Yoga, or those who would like to go deeper on their Yoga journey - for everyone it will be a year of personal evolution.
All our teacher training Anatomy content is provided by the internationally well known Anatomy Teacher David Keil. We have a long standing friendship with David that goes back many years to when David was first starting to teach outside of America and we're delighted to maintain that relationship with him to this day and to be able to give our teacher training students the benefits of the Anatomy and Physiology that this great teacher has. Not only does he know his topic inside out but he's uniquely able to put across the most complex of Anatomy features in the simplest of terms. A very highly rated teacher and one whose teaching we're delighted to offer our students.
Our London course is held the Farnham Surrey, which is a beautiful English town easily accessed by rail from London. It is the home town of one of our directors Sue Woodd, who leads the course. Sue has lived here for many years and is proud to hold the training there.
Our 200hr SYTT weekend trainings will be taking place at a beautiful space in The STUDIO Durham House in Farnham.
Sue Woodd co-founded Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training School in 2011 with Julie Hanson and Marit Akintewe. For almost 10 years, Seasonal Yoga has trained yoga teachers and grown to multiple locations from Scotland to Surrey, Liverpool and Finland. Fully accredited by Yoga Alliance, Seasonal Yoga is a unique teacher training school which combines Hatha Yoga, Tai Chi and Qi Gong; as well as a modern understanding about body movement, all in relation to the changing nature of the seasons around us.
This course is supported by Experienced 500 hr Seasonal Yoga Teachers TAMARA, OMAR, KIM and LAURA who bring first hand experience of completing the course and their own specialities.
