Monday Morning

Seasonal Flow

9.30am - 10.30am

This is a Hatha based class with a gentle introduction to "flow" or "vinyasa". These flows are added to disperse stagnant energy, flush the body and build strength. 

 

Every class begins with a slow warm up and stretch, working up to the standing poses which reach a peak, before coming down to explore more mat based poses.

 

Postures are chosen specifically to balance energy of the current season, bringing you in tune with nature.​

Wednesday Morning

POWer Flow

6.30am - 7.30am

This class is a faster paced, stronger class, based around a classic vinyasa style of yoga. 

 

Intermediate postures are included to challenge you and we often work towards a peak pose. 

 

Expect to flow and move around the mat, whilst working the body hard and having some fun!

Friday Morning

Seasonal Flow + rest

This is a slower paced Hatha style yoga class, perfect for beginners or those that prefer a gentler approach to yoga. Using breathing, posture and mudra to connect you to the current season.

 

It is a mixture of standing and seated poses, ending with an extended relaxation - either yoga nidra or meditation.

Yoga nidra is know as "yogic sleep" and is used at the end of class as a method of conscious deep relaxation.

Saturdays

POWer Flow

This "ladder" style vinyasa style class will lift your heart rate and set you up for the weekend.  Familiar, simple poses mean it's suitable for all.  Loose yourself in this building flow as you repeat poses to deepen your existing practice OR just enjoy your body moving in a constant movement.

Friday Night

Seasonal YIN yoga

7.30pm - 8.30pm

YIN yoga works with your connective tissue, joints, ligaments and tendons.  Long held poses apply soft pressure to these areas to increase flexibility, release tension, trapped emotion and "juice" up the body....making it more lubricated.

 

It's a great addition to any yang practice as it opens up the body allowing you to deepen your asana.  It's also great for the restless mind because it teaches us to how to find our own stillness and to perhaps address what might be buried deep inside.  it's a hugely internal and personal practice.
