Service Description

Summer is when earths energy is at it's peak and is outward, engaging, bouncing and swirling. With the days long and light we spend more time outside interacting with others and generally enjoying ourselves. It is a time for expression and living and speaking from the heart. This workshop introduces you to the concept of the 8 limbs of yoga (ancient yogic script) and TAPAS - the 3rd Niyama. Building fire, making a spiritual and personal commitment to make a change to better yourself. In summer we can easily be swept away with the crowd, and loose yourself in the comfort of being part of a group - absentmindedly loosing the skill of thinking for yourself and making choices that are good for you, burning the candle at both ends! Creating a spiritual commitment keeps us from going too far, which can feel very alluring in SUMMER. Learn how to eat and cook within the season of SUMMER + a seasonal recipe for you to try, and how to create balance within your mind and emotions this time of year.
